The Keystone Energy Forum (KEF) is a organization formed in 2011 by two industry groups, the Pennsylvania Independent Oil and Gas Association and The American Petroleum Institute. Its purpose is to help educate the public about the economic and social importance of developing the Marcellus shale formation.

The Forum's purpose is to promote informed dialogue about developing the Marcellus among Pennsylvanians--both citizens and elected officials--and to enhance their understanding of related issues.[1]
